People expecting Nintendo to bring out a "Switch 2" just because PS5/Xbox Series X are coming next year are fooling themselves. Switch isn't going to be replaced for at least another 3-4+ years.
Switch isn't even 3 years old yet, Hardware/Software is still selling at insane levels even without significant price drops, Nintendo has plenty of time to worry about a successor. Switch still has a lot of life left in it, even with newer systems on the horizon.

If anything I'd potentially expect a "Pro" or just something like what we got this year: A model with stronger battery life or otherwise better internals.
I don't think they should wait too long. They did that with the Wii and I believe it hurt them.
Nah, the Wii hurt during it's second half due to lack of compelling games - outside of a few bigger games (like Xenoblade and Skyward Sword) there were just no new games to look forward to on the system.
that won't be a switch 2 in 2021 that would be four years that is way to sort for a lifespan of a system especially since they said they want to extend it with The Nintendo switch
