I love how he admits that “if people with money get squeezed out they don’t buy my product” like yeah, so why would you want that money just going to 1% of people instead of the 99% who could be potential customers? The fuck?

And tithing 10% specifically is biblical... In fact, in Matthew 23:23, Jesus warns against focusing too much on the rules of tithing without paying attention to the more important things like justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should be giving in some way.

Given the context (or lack thereof), it's difficult to say who exactly is "missing the point" here; a toss-up, at best. -Perhaps Jesus himself might have some cogent thoughts on the matter.

Is that true? About the 10% thing?

If that guy believes that the high income spending of the 1% is the thing that keeps the economy alive, just imagine if that spending power were expanded to the other 99%.
