US is now registering news papers / networks as foreign agents. US now openly censors social media. Where do you think that is going, sonnyboy? US is getting there. Fast.

first of, it was the Obama admin. that registered Wikileaks as a foreign agent. that is about to end. Merkel and the EU are so much worse when it comes to cencoring and the net neutrality will make the internet freeer. so you're wrong, i'm sorry to say :)

It's hard to take Trump administration's comments about freedom of the press seriously in light of Trump's efforts to smear those in the media who've told the truth about him. He even called for Senate intelligence committee investigation. Killing net neutrality is another blow.

True but he has not stifled debate nor been able to shut free press, just the opposite ,he has made it clear that these fundamental pillars of freedom are not negotiable and reinforced the necessity of keeping them as stalwart necessity of democracy
