I dont have the pin to start menu option in right click menu. Reinstalling doesnt help, what gives? Can't pin anything to start

Try deleting HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions registry key

That key stores shell extensions cache. Windows (very rarely) can go bonkers and ban some extensions.

And deleting that won't mess with any other shell extensions I have installed?

So just to clarify, what exactly am I deleting? A folder or one of the values in the folder?
