After centered start button, the most requested feature is to... move taskbar.
Turns out, people don't know how to move taskbar. I'm puzzled. Option in taskbar properties was added in Vista, but taskbar moving was possible since 1995.
Should I include an option in properties?

depending on the version of Windows. Yes, its been a thing since Vista.
But it changed in Windows 11. You'd have to go through the personalization settings to move the taskbar icons. But moving the whole thing to the left or right side of the screen is broken.

it seems probable that more people will buy your software if you provide options that they should have been able to find in Windows itself. tons of people just haven't used Windows that much or are bad at intuiting what is available

And by broken I mean it doesn't work right *and* you have to mess with the registry to do it.

Add the option, but maybe tell the user about taskbar unlocking in a tooltip.

What about making SAB taskbar 48px? I'm so used to the Win11's 48px taskbar and SAB one looks short for me.

I don't think you understand, what people want. I had to install ExplorerPatcher, because I didn't want the taskbar on my main monitor. On W11 you can choose to have it only on your main monitor... or on ALL your monitors. I want the tb only on my sec monitor
