Is it possible that SIB (2.9.9) is making Explorer.exe crash on my computer? Its infrequent, like every couple of months perhaps. But it mentioned BEX64 , ntdll, and the exception code c0000409.

Hmm. I guess I have to dig around. Supposedly 3rd-party shell extensions are one large source of such an issue. I don't have that many, but I'll look around.
What about OldNewExplorer? Got 1.1.8.4 here.

So I should uninstall OldNewExplorer then. At least for the time being.
Its a shame. I liked the WIndows 7 Explorer UI feel it provided. Of all the versions of Windows I used, from 95 to 10, I liked 7 the best (despite its UI being a clone of Vista).
