I'm gonna try the new official way to report Windows 10 performance problems. The jumplist menus are ~3x faster than they used to be, but still too slow. Can we get a video-game programmer on the job? Details here: github.com/microsoft/WinD

it has its own jumplists since version 2.5 which are way faster: startisback.com/#download-tab

StartIsBack jumplist UI uses synchronous I/O. I would like to know if anybody has performance issues with it.

no, your jumplists are great and much faster compared to windows ones.
