Of course the people who are asking you to explain are really just making the point that the only real joke here is "Chinese people look funny". If you don't believe that then you won't find this "joke" funny.

That's not the joke, the joke is the absurd caricature and the other things I mentioned. He caricatured 5 different cultures. Including the british.

The "absurd character" is a well established racist stereotype.

A caricature. Similar to any caricature.

Yes but caricatures carry racial and nationalist themes which are loaded with bigotry and xenophobia.

Not necessarily. You are making that insinuation. My point is that you can mock and caricature without sincerely believing someone is inferior to you. But as you said before you believe humour must have criticism in it, which I do not believe. So we disagree on this point.

I also don't believe nationalism is a bad thing. You have to be able to understand people have different views than you, to understand how this can be a joke.

There's a difference between "I like my country" nationalism and "I hate other countries" nationalism. The latter is what Crowder is doing. Also you don't seem to be objecting to the claims that Crowder's xenophobic either.

This statement makes it clear you are not well informed on the difference between nationalism and internationalism. I think this is the most important political divide among varying factions in the last century so it is well worth examining in the future.

Anyway, somewhat mediocre talk, not as good as with the other fellow. But I wish you well anyway, I must go to sleep now. Night night!
