1. Who called the cops? 2. Why call the cops? 3. When the cops got there did they just assume it was the black guys 4. Who pointed at these men and said they did something wrong? 5. What did they say they did wrong? 6. Since when do u need to buy anything to sit at a Starbucks???

Just to answer # 6, "loitering" is usually a violation of a city ordinance and Starbucks can reserve its seating for its customers. I am NOT speaking to the facts in this case. So don't @ me, please.

The manager at this Starbucks chain store was well within their right to call the police on a case of trespassing. They were not customers so they were asked to leave. After refusing to leave the manager called the police after the men said “call the police we don’t care.

The basis for calling the police was wrong and they should have not been called in this situation. We've reached an agreement with these men that will include a financial settlement as well as continued dialogue.https://sbux.co/2HIPs7b

I know many people are addicted to the Starbucks drug (caffeine), but scale back and hit them in the financial pocket. The two young men need to financially compensated well by Starbucks. The person who called the cops needs to be fired. Police need de-escalation training.
