why not netflix? T.T @netflix, convince them pls

Well that's because of the low numbers Netflix got internationally on STD, they refused to buy the Picard series, so that's why outside of the u.s. it's on Amazon.
-
Well that's definitely not true. DISCO was a massive success in Europe.
-
It was number 5 in the top 10 in the UK.
-
That sounds like a success to me
-
Same here how is that not successful?
-
Imagine being so blind by fan range that you spin being a Top 5 show as being a massive bomb.
-
Who said it was a massive bomb, I said Netflix was disappointed in seasons 1 performance, that CBS had to do a song and dance and drop the price for them to purchase season 2 and give them short Trek's free. But it can't be a massive bomb because it getting a season 3

WOW
@NetflixUK have seriously fucked up there. The number of people streaming the first episode of a new Picard show is gonna be IMMENSE.... What happened?! -
I mean, I have amazon prime so this won't affect me in the slightest but I just don't get the decision

-
I think it more has to do with the plan to diversify exposure to trek internationally. Kurtzman said a few months ago that Discovery and all its spinoffs are Netflix’s but all other shows such as Picard and Lower Decks could go anywhere.
-
Well that makes sense I guess. Just to think in the old days we had to wait months (sometimes years) for new episodes to arrive from the US.

Sorry, but that should be on Netflix. I'll watch anyway but I doubt it will be on Amazon Prime
. Helloo CBS what are you thinking?
-
-
Exactly!!!
-
Remember when the Star Trek series were on “regular” television? Miss those days.

-
Well, for me most of the series was mainly on cable TV. So it was never very easy. And, about series like Enterprise, Voyager and all the episodes of DS9 I thank Netflix for having watched.
