The list is long - the primary reason is the necessity of gaining total control over the information space, to prevent the spread of the “party of peace” throughout the system (to shut their mouths), to disrupt the internet as much as possible without any drama...4/5

How will average Russians interpret this? i would expect (as a lay person) that martial law would be seen as an admission by the government that things are going badly & would generate significant anti-government skepticism.
