    2/ we have all seen outpatients with chronic hypertension develop symptoms from being down their BP too quick. My suspicion is that inpatient have impaired autoregulation that necessitates a higher head of pressure. If others have data or thoughts, please share

    1/ I’m still waiting for the trial of inpatient BP post-AKI..I see a lot of housestaff being very judicious about BP, and I just wonder aloud whether there are clinical scenarios (particularly inpatient ones) where we need to allow for permissive hypertension.
