This is one of the most factually inaccurate articles I've read in ages. MDs aren't aware of non-opioid pain meds? Is that why Humira, Enbrel, SSRIs, Lyrica, NSAIDS, etc. are best selling meds of all time? The claim that doctors rarely prescribe non-opiates for pain is false.

NSAIDS (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Meloxicam, Toradol, etc.) are the most commonly used pain medications worldwide. "...Few doctors recommend non-opioid pain treatments." The claim is demonstrably false.
