【追究罷工醫護 醫管局公佈扣薪】 今年 2 月，醫管局員工陣線發起醫護罷工，要求政府「封關」抗疫。醫管局事後明言會追究「缺勤」員工，上月曾要求醫護提供罷工期間的出勤證明。局方今日（27 日）向員工發內部通訊，指會按罷工醫護「缺勤」日數，收回相應薪金，但不會作其他人力資源方面的跟進。pic.twitter.com/UAHNrALq8g

Though this looks like a terrible outcome (& it is a terrible outcome), what the Govt cannot ignore is the tremendous effort our healthcare workers have been exerting over the past 10 months. Sacking them or imposing anything more will simply accelerate their departure.

I do think however that some of them will eventually depart.

Hospital Authority dare not dismiss them because of serious shortfall of medical staff, implying the vigorous bargaining power. Should I be the staff, I will take a strike once more to challenge the deduction of wages.
