    We at the United Way of Central Massachusetts LOVE Stamp Out Hunger; in this our 100th Anniversary year I am hopeful we will increase by 100,000 pounds of food collected!

    The Doherty and Donelon Scholarships application deadline is Dec. 31. The William C. Doherty awards five renewable grants of $4,000 each, & the John T. Donelon Scholarship awards one scholarship of $1,000, renewable for four years.

    The NALC will honor carriers as of the Year on Oct. 30. These are members who saved people from car accidents, helped rescue a teenager who had been abused for months by her captors, or turned a personal tragedy into a campaign to help others.
