Like the majority of Americans, I have an immediate family member locked up behind bars. My dad is in prison & at the age of 75, he is high risk for the virus. And in the context of a pandemic where ALL OF US are at risk, we can't ignore prison welfare. The people in prison will pass it back and forth, and those officers passing through those gates everyday will bring it back out when they go home to their families -and communities.
