There should be something past Gell-Mann Amnesia to describe the situation with outlets like Vox, where you find them being, not *wrong* about something, but clearly maliciously deceptive...and you still believe them about other stuff.

Vox is extra special because it *actively recruits* people who are maliciously deceptive. "Drvox" was infamous in environmental circles for lying about the feasibility of wind/solar dominated grids.

Old, or at least a few years old. I just remember him getting sniped at a lot by the hardline pro nuclear people, never paid attention till he started writing a bizarre mix of alarmism and defeatism for Vox.
