Not true. Imagine two connected rooms at equal air pressure, one with 60x the square footage of the other. The number of air molecules going from the small room to the large one must equal the number going from the large to the small.
Just saying there's no intuitive reason to expect large -> small emigration to be larger or smaller than small -> large a priori.
