For some reason this damn article (http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20150512-bird-grows-face-of-dinosaur?ocid=twert …) is all over the Twitters right now, even though it's from 2015. It's a bad article. One reason it's bad: there's a _long history_ of chicken teeth that it ignores.

But this kind of work goes back at least to the late 70s, when Kollar and Fischer sandwiched chick and mouse tissue: http://science.sciencemag.org/content/207/4434/993 … The current work appears to validate their original thesis.
