On further reflection, this may be a confabulated memory. It's been so long since I had corn on the cob that I'm not sure how I eat it.

Odd. I specialize in "algebra" but I eat the corn in columns/spirals/whatever.

Is this some kind of meta-"sandwich" theory?!

I'm going to tentatively advance the hypothesis that people don't remember how they eat corn and can be primed to associate it with some unrelated fact about themselves.

I'm not a mathemetician (but have always been good with numbers), and I don't eat it either of those ways. I eat a square-ish patch several rows high & then the next one down, & so on to the end, then rotate &c.
