Here's a question: Is it possible to create Mobius strips via a standard pasta extrusion machine w/o surgery (ie gluing ends)?

I assumed you were starting with a ring. You can't knead a ball of dough into a topological equivalent of a torus

You can extrude tubes though. I guess there's a surgery step (cutting the tube) implied by 'standard pasta extrusion machine'
