I think his forepaw is basically paralyzed, whether bc of nerve, bone or tendon damage I dunno. He can walk on it and slap things with it.

How old are they? And do you know when they first had human socialization? (I know something on the topic, my wife is literally pro at it.)

They're about six months and they've never had human socialization except from me feeding them. Just local strays.

They're feral, they come around for food. I've been looking after neighborhood strays for years now.

Kittens over 8 weeks can rarely be socialized to humans as pet cats. Dogs are markedly different.

As you know, it's possible to make *some* headway with older kittens, but rare to really human-socialize. You know socialization windows?

Yeah, I do. I've adopted two strays from the neighborhood and found a home for a third, but there's always more.
