Started taking Victoza, more a drug for type 2 diabetics than type 1 like me. Sample I got would cost near $600: 10-30 days, depending.
That seems...odd. How's it supposed to regulate insulin secretion when you don't secrete any?

It has other effects, but I already have slow gastric emptying naturally & more might just bring nausea. I've put off trying it for 6 weeks.

It's bloody expensive. I'll give it a go, but I expect it won't help much. I don't want to spend $1800/month on nausea

It's $160/pen from Canada and apparently near $600/pen locally (will double-check that). 10-30 days depending on dose.

It's $1000 for three pens, so roughly double the price from Canada. Maybe my insurance can bring that down a little. Hope it won't work.
