what's the best way to learn what direction a news site leans is, aside from "i keep agreeing, it must be pretty liberal"? @St_Rev?

i'm reasonably aware of my own biases & try to adjust for them,but i'd like a watchdog that runs conservative/liberal tallies on news sites.

Unfortunately, people tried stuff like that and it was almost instantly coopted by the hacks. eg Politifact has been pretty bad.
