O = PT. If P increases to P + ΔP, and T increases to T + ΔT, the new production is (P + ΔP)(T + ΔT) = PT + ΔPT + PΔT + ΔPΔT

So the change in O is ΔPT + PΔT + ΔPΔT. Assuming the deltas are small, it rounds to ΔPT + PΔT, not ΔP + ΔT.
