Internet can deliver 1,000 strangers to your living room to criticize you over something you said. Nobody but sociopaths can cope w/that.

@St_Rev You can't totally prevent the problem but you can reduce incident rate with sane social media design. -
@St_Rev IE if somebody you have blocked tries to tag you, it should notify you of any responses. I see Sark hit this way a lot actually. -
@St_Rev Criticism is linked including her @ by thunderf00t or whoever and 2000 responses end up in her non follower mentions. -
@TrivialGravitas Twitter is constructed entirely out of bad design choices. -
@St_Rev@TrivialGravitas one imo big one being: it's not made clear what's meant to be "public" space and what's personal or inner-circle -
@St_Rev@TrivialGravitas often one party feels they're arguing in a public square and another feels like the other's in their living room -
@St_Rev@TrivialGravitas & without some "official" ruling on who's right (which'd be pure fiat but that's not a bug), it's just unresolvable

@St_Rev optional anonymity for the global? Also if the clashes are "i disagree" rather than "you're a horrible person" it will be fine.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
