@St_Rev@sarahdoingthing wait are we talking about seasoning a skillet or painting -
@cwage@sarahdoingthing either both pick one. flax and linseed are *the* *same* *thing* -
@St_Rev@sarahdoingthing no one is rated higher by agencies which one is safer -
@cwage@sarahdoingthing flax is edible, linseed is poisonous. for fuck's sake -
@St_Rev@sarahdoingthing so use linseed then - 2 more replies

@St_Rev hey is there anything to do for a mildly wounded cat, the patient accepted tuna & dry cat food & water, seems to be keeping clean -
@St_Rev someone else's cat so it would be weird to kidnap it to the vet but I'm not sure what the vet would do, small patch of missing fur -
@sarahdoingthing if it's an open sore you can get stuff called 'hot spot' spray (not a brand name) -
@sarahdoingthing ideally this is a combination of a mild anesthetic, an antiseptic and a bittering agent to keep them from licking at it. -
@sarahdoingthing Where is the wound? -
@St_Rev on its shoulder -
@sarahdoingthing OK it's probably scraping it up with its rear claws. bittering won't help but the anesthetic will hopefully. -
@sarahdoingthing ofc that has to be applied regularly until it stops itching, so you'll have to talk to the owners - 1 more reply
