@St_Rev Interesting. Quick calc looks like 9ish million for breadfruit (at 10 tons/acre), but could be higher. Sugar beets are WAY up there.

@TamarHaspel Yeah, and different sources report +-50%. IIRC onions are also very high but I don't have a cite for that. -
@TamarHaspel Breadfruit grows on trees so the initial investment is substantial, & it's pretty climate-limited. Also doesn't taste v. good. -
@TamarHaspel And it spoils fast. Still, there could be an industry there just exploiting its starch content. -
