2) concentrate on your breathing and the feel of yr diaphragm

@GrumplessGrinch 3) keep attention 100% on feel of diaphragm until you can sense the bubbling/tickling sensation that precedes a hiccup -
@GrumplessGrinch 4) when you reliably sense it, lock yr attention 100% on the bubbly feel -
@GrumplessGrinch 5) if yr attention slips, you will hiccup. if you can remain 100% aware of the feel for 10 seconds, it will fade away -
@GrumplessGrinch 6) your hiccups are gone. repeat as needed -
