@St_Rev I can respect someone as a human, while also not respecting them (politically or intellectually) because they are, e.g., SJWs. -
@random_eddie It's partly about compassion for others (Buddha) but also partly epistemic humility (Hayek). -
@random_eddie Scorn particular beliefs that have been tested and refuted, yes. But politics also express non-falsifiable preferences.
