I have an outdoor cat who tends to hide under people's parked cars. Worry he's going to get run over sooner or later. Any obvious solutions?

@St_Rev Yes, Gracie (see prof pic) got hit & killed 2 weeks ago. Here's part solution for George: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIGH-VISIBILITY-YELLOW-LAND-O-BURNS-BENGALS-CAT-WALKING-JACKET-HARNESS-/201123330253?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 … -
@St_Rev Fence is kind of out of the question, we're in a townhouse with basically 2 m^2 of outdoor space that belongs to us. -
@simplic10 Turn the 2 m^2 of space into a cage, keep catboxes out there. Big improvement over strict indoor. -
@St_Rev We sort of tried that. The cage was about 1 x 0.5 m. Trouble is George is a hunter... but it may be best compromise, tx. -
@simplic10 I dearly want a setup like that myself, but don't have the money. -
@St_Rev Yeah. I would lean toward that, or just accepting the risk. He's part Bengal, extremely active, vocal. -
@simplic10 Loves to jump? A vertical cage with a lot of shelves would be just the thing.
