@St_Rev I'm fortunate I respond well to ADD meds & haven't had any serious side effects. seems that's not really the norm -
@St_Rev I'je had insomnia and wildly disrupted sleep phases from birth, which may be the etiology of ADD in my case. & the depression, maybe -
@schakalsynthetc Yeah, I have desynchronized circadian rhythm, RLS (RLS + tourette's + ADD = dopamine malfunction trifecta) -
@St_Rev I've been wondering if I might have mild or subclinical tourette's, actually -
@schakalsynthetc Mine's not severe but it's bad enough to be humiliating at the peak of the cycle. (My moods don't cycle but the TS does). -
@St_Rev so far I haven't had evident tics, at worst none that I can't easily camoflage, but close enough to be nervous about it at times -
@St_Rev only real complaint is of the annoyance & distraction of having a third-rate sound collage artist in my head 24/7 -
@schakalsynthetc ADD meds helped a lot for a few years, slowly became less and less helpful & more and more of a problem. Quit after ~6 yrs. - 2 more replies
