@_youhadonejob @St_Rev Possibly 'shopped-but original seems equally wrong: "When Never Land pirates want something, they ask for it nicely."
@mikeschiffer @_youhadonejob http://nodogsoranglophones.blogspot.com/2013/12/french-versus-english-volume-99.html … has the same message from a different angle in an actual book.

@St_Rev@_youhadonejob Disney may have reused artwork, of course, but now I kind of want to see it shown. -
@St_Rev@_youhadonejob (It's likewise certainly possible that Disney rejiggered the book in response to the meme.) -
@St_Rev@_youhadonejob Also, not to go Memogate on the photo, but am I wrong that letters' angle in motto is different from rest of page? -
@mikeschiffer Same angle on both, just an optical illusion because of the red box. Compare to upper curve of scroll. -
@St_Rev I wasn't thinking of rotation relative to box. Letters on scroll look face on to us; ones towards the top of page seem to lean back. -
@mikeschiffer The text on the scroll is rotated relative to the page in the same way in both the "don't steal" and "ask nicely" versions.

@St_Rev@_youhadonejob The book I linked to shows the exact same page, with the different wording, in Amazon's Search Inside.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
