@St_Rev I think it would be profitable to engage with, but would reveal truths more uncomfortable to progressives than to nrxns.

@sarahdoingthing Such as? -
@St_Rev e.g. could there be racial disparities in the likelihood of being in circumstances where enforcement occurs? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2561263/ … -
@sarahdoingthing They get arrested because they're dumber/more careless? 3.8x more careless? That's really reaching. -
@St_Rev It's not about "careless" - much deeper and more sad cultural patterns. -
@St_Rev There is some racism in enforcement and it magnifies the existing racism in e.g. being on a corner at night/driving a crappy car -
@St_Rev Worse: the horrible, destructive hammer they have is what they use, and it's not "about" stopping marijuana use in the slightest. -
@sarahdoingthing Yeah. I'd expect a Bayesian magnifying effect if there were an underlying disparity in true offense rates. - 1 more reply

@St_Rev How does this specifically concern nrxn? -
@Witch_Hammer Relevant to data-driven arguments about anarcho-tyranny and ethnonationalism. -
@St_Rev Why would nrxns ignore it? -
@Witch_Hammer Motivated cognition, like anybody else; it's evidence that racial disparities in crime rate are smaller than official figures.
