There is no reason to have 50,000 math teachers individually preparing the same lecture when you can find the best and give it to all.

@St_Rev right, in-person lectures may not be the most efficient use of resources. just don't pretend there's no benefit at all
@admittedlyhuman Not sure what you're saying, but Khan Academy seems to be getting somewhere with the idea.
