Mocking her for this stuff is abusive, but so's pushing her into a life like this. Like with the ten year old "drag kid", the people around her are enabling something that's...very probably harmful, let's say.

Yeah, I won't put up with people making fun of her ticks and whatnot; but, I don't think her parents are doing her any favors. I read somewhere that she severe social anxiety. Surely there are less confrontational activities she can participate in to get her out into the world.
