The grimacing and monkey arms are tics. She has autism and a bunch of people are screaming at her. I have very similar tics. She should have been gently steered away from situations like this a long time ago, but I blame her parents and handlers.https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1167075963835953155 …

She has autism, which means she's going to have a lot of difficulty processing the motives of people around her and telling when she's being used or manipulated, and OCD, which seems to be driving her activism in an unhealthy/obsessive/fixated way.
-
That sounds like a self-perpetuating storm. When it dawns on her that her obsessive fixation doesn't bear fruit within the public or nations, won't that push her even further into it?
-
I suspect her future is grim.
-
The one thing that angers me more than anything else is kids being hurt, abused, neglected, or used. I feel bad for her, but that won't stop my criticism of her message.
-
Or, in reality, her handler's message.

Yeah, I won't put up with people making fun of her ticks and whatnot; but, I don't think her parents are doing her any favors. I read somewhere that she severe social anxiety. Surely there are less confrontational activities she can participate in to get her out into the world.

Me, I have the autism, the tics, occasional selective mutism, the anxiety. Not so much the OCD.
