for me, eyeshadow was easier to master than blush and bronzer. those two I'm definitely still working on. of course, I have room to get better at eyeshadow, but when I'm time-constrained I can easily do a simple look that I love. my results with blush and bronzer, however...

highlighter came naturally... I've gone overboard with highlighter several times, but usually it's lovely right away. I just gotta avoid wearing it when my upper cheeks are especially textured

What I always did was exaggerate whatever effect I was going for, then applied foundation and powder _over_ it.
