for me, eyeshadow was easier to master than blush and bronzer. those two I'm definitely still working on. of course, I have room to get better at eyeshadow, but when I'm time-constrained I can easily do a simple look that I love. my results with blush and bronzer, however...

It gives the illusion that the underlayer is under the skin rather than sitting on top of it. Effect, powder (so it doesn't blend with the overlayer), foundation, powder.

I find it interesting how all of this has parallels with woodworking and oil painting, which is good and wholesome, and yet used for horrible bad things
