What "X is inherently political" actually means is "I am entitled and indeed obligated to start a struggle in this space." No place is safe, every knee must bend. "Why did you piss all over the floor in here?" "McDonald's is inherently political, always has been!"

Most of the uses of the word "inherent" are used to make some sort of logical leap; "inherentness" usually only makes sense within some sort of mystical framework where objects have non-physical properties.
