It's easy to dismiss this stuff as harmless crackpottery, but I know triumphalist eliminationism when I see it. People like this will use, and are using, the full power of the state to indulge their superstitious hate.

I have never personally met a healthy vegan. They're either sallow and anemic, or they're eating animal products and lying about it. Not saying it's impossible, but noone I know is in a high enough income bracket.

I had a FB friend that was posting at least one 'meat is evil' article a day. And then about every other weekend, a post about how they backslide and ate half a cow. Months into this, they were presenting themselves as a clear example of the health benefits of veganism.
