The tiny bump in the northwest is New Pavis, a modest trading post. The rest is the Big Rubble, the ruins of Old Pavis, a magickal bronze age megacity and one of the first RPG ultramegadungeons. Low fantasy + high fantasy + post-apocalypse.pic.twitter.com/KuNep0YfkK

Problem is that everything built up to Heroquest, which was vaporware for decades and nearly incomprehensible when it did show up.

I'm currently in a 13th Age Glorantha game, which seems to work pretty well. (I never did any Runequest, but the Glorantha fans in the game also seem reasonably pleased.)https://site.pelgranepress.com/index.php/13th-age-glorantha/ …
