honestly i dont think adhd is "real" sorry it sounds fake i guess im like antivaxer for some other thing that isnt vaxines tier but it sounds made up to me
-
-
that sounds more specific tho
-
But it is specific — it’s less measurable too; some people are naturally stimulated and some people are not; and that really shows on how people react to certain stimulants. For adhd folks it calms them down because it centers them.
-
In a sense for adhd people stimulants act as anxiolytics :/
-
You cannot possibly deny that effect as not real. For others stimulant cause them to go into paranoia mode ( people with naturally high orexin levels ) there is even a variation in sleep as a result (check out short sleeper genetics)
-
If you are adhd and also naturally systematizing and good at grasping that sort of material you can definitely coast without stimulants. (I do not have adhd btw so talking from the perspective of someone who’s close friends are)
-
I was diagnosed with one of those ones but it wasnt the main one I dont remember what it was and I couldnt re find it
-
Bupropion?
-

Or your whole body feels like it's soaking in acid and hooked up to a car battery "yeah I stubbed my toe once too, get over it"
-
ADHD is more or less losing your train of thought every five seconds, forever. "Oh yeah I forget stuff sometimes..." A big enough quantitative difference becomes a qualitative one.
-
I spend most of my time on a screen because that way when I forget what's going on there's a written record to remind me.
