I'm finding almost no arguments against the euthanasia of companion animals (under circumstances like terminal illness). Is that fishy or evidence of true moral consensus? I mean, there are people who believe anything and everything out there.

I remember reading an article years and years ago, probably in Tricycle, by an American Buddhist whose teacher denounced pet euthanasia and how confused and upset this made the writer.

ugh, gut punch. my older dog (my first dog ever) is not doing so well, I'm hoping to get some answers soon but I doubt they're happy. thought euthanasia would be a (sad) no-brainer but I'm feeling really squeamish about it now
