I've had a migraine continuously, of varying intensity, since Sunday. It's hindered my productivity and is fairly demoralizing. If you're an academic that has tricks to manage migraines, I'd love to hear how. (Yes, I've seen [multiple] neurologists.)

So my migraines are aura-less — yet two neurologists say they are truly migraines. I've tried other triptans but without much luck. I'll try these recommendations though, thanks!

Aura-less migraine may be sinus-related rather than true migraine. Pain presentation is very similar but the treatment is to get the clogged passage open.

I've had some success with xylitol-based spray (Xlear brand) to wash out irritants and break up biofilms/general gunk, and with capsaicin-based spray (Sinus Buster brand) to stimulate bloodflow and mucus secretion. Figuring out my allergy triggers also helped (tobacco, mildew).
