I've had a migraine continuously, of varying intensity, since Sunday. It's hindered my productivity and is fairly demoralizing. If you're an academic that has tricks to manage migraines, I'd love to hear how. (Yes, I've seen [multiple] neurologists.)

Interesting, that could explain the strong correlation with Fall. Maybe something in the air. Also usually associated with neck pain but I can't tell if that's secondary symptom or causal.

My pain presentation starts in the back of the neck, moves over the top of the head and settles behind one eye. Don't know why (trigeminal nerve doesn't innervate the back of the neck) but it seems to be a common pattern.

I've had some success with xylitol-based spray (Xlear brand) to wash out irritants and break up biofilms/general gunk, and with capsaicin-based spray (Sinus Buster brand) to stimulate bloodflow and mucus secretion. Figuring out my allergy triggers also helped (tobacco, mildew).
