It's biggest flaw is its inability to be metacritical of itself; there is no method of self-correction to adjust for when the 'oppressed' become the 'oppressors' because it is an ideology, not epistemology.

The 'critical' in 'critical theory' refers to a specific critique of capitalism and modernism. It's not 'critical' in the sense of 'critical thinking'; nearly the opposite, it's a theory of war against a known enemy.
