Seeing some weird/baffling takes on 'post-rationalism' today. Look: if it means anything, "Post-Rationalism" means 'When rationalists wander away from rationalism, and don't get sucked into a) politics or b) religion, they get interested in some of these issues.'

like postmodernism or some weird french philosophers

Yeah, though postrats are fortunately not embedded in a corrupt hierarchy that rewards endless status-gaming.

The diaspora started around 2014 I think. And 'post-rat' isn't really about them, it's about what such-and-such fraction of them ran into. eg: I wasn't part of LW. I took a look at it and noped out after three comments.

Not to flog my mostly useless academic qualifications but I have a PhD in mathematics. I didn't find anything interesting on LW.
-
Actually it probably goes back to 2012 or 2011 at least. NRx was the right flank of the original diaspora.
