imo it's a term used so independently from the meaning you're poking at that it's useless and just a term for neo-nazis to signal eachother.

Nah, that's bullshit. There are almost no neo-Nazis, and the few there are have much easier ways to communicate. Antifa need Nazis to posture against, so they're constantly hallucinating them.

I'm aware it sounds conspiratorial and try to check myself over it but it really seems like there are neo-nazis, or at least white supremacists in the current government. They aren't in power, but they are a voice in the ear of the power.

Trump's an authoritarian populist troll. But Hillary's support network in government is much closer to classical fascism, in the sense of a centralized police/surveillance/propaganda state. They're just *anti-racist* fascists, so the secret police come in all colors.

Trump is bad, but the Hillary machine has been working like mad since 11/9/2016 to generate FUD. Jesus in a tortilla nonsense. And then the White House has been throwing out insane fake leaks to make the newspapers freak out even more.

The most recent Jesus-in-a-tortilla was when the Respectable Authorities on Fascism found a 14 and an 88 in an ICE report the other day. Except both had perfectly sane explanations.

It was pretty obvious to me that a) 14 words is pretty normal for a headline, law of small numbers, and b) the bit that said 'for every 88 that pass the credible threat screening' meant that 88% of applicants pass that part, so it was '100 apply, 88 pass screening, 13 get asylum'

It just fit the narrative so well that it got rocket fuel once someone CT'd it up. Trump is shitty, is admin is shitty, they are being shitty to asylum seekers so of course they are putting neo-nazi nods in their memos. Honestly the Trump Admin isn't that clever imo.

What's a theory, what's a conspiracy and what's a conspiracy theory is hard to define. But certain things are clearly in one bucket.
