No. If 0.3% of the population is trans, and a parent has four children, then they have about a 1.2% chance of having a trans kid. That's not close to impossible. If a parent is trans, the odds go up, since there's frequently a genetic link, eg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congenital_adrenal_hyperplasia … https://twitter.com/Ma__Deuce/status/1013805000974389248 …

The "drag kid" is distasteful because *sexualizing any ten-year-old* is distasteful. The kid _cannot know_ the meaning of what he's doing. You don't have to invoke bad statistical arguments to realize this, and you don't have to deny people's identity or humanity either.

It's still highly unlikely a trans activist's child is going to just happen to be trans. Especially as the .3 number appears to be highly exaggerated. It's definitely trendy to have 'trans kids,' and it's also a very safe choice for the Munchausen's moms.

There's a fairly straightforward harm/benefit calculation here, we just don't have any of the necessary statistics for it. Making up shit doesn't help, though.

As someone who suffered horribly thanks to being +-3 or 4 SDs on multiple axes growing up, my sympathies lean heavily pro-mutant in general.
